Every class at Fitt. is designed with a clear focus, so you always know what you're walking into. Some days you'll want to feel the burn. Other days you'll want to slow down and really work on your form.
Here's a quick guide to our four class styles, and how to choose the one that suits how you want to feel.
Foundations
Beginner-friendly and steady paced. The perfect place to start.
Foundations covers the Pilates basics: breathing, alignment, finding your powerhouse and setting up the equipment with confidence. If you're new to Pilates, or coming back after time away, start here.
Sweat
High energy, faster paced and intense.
Sweat is all about the burn: pulses, small-range work, and glutes and inner thighs until they shake. Choose Sweat when you want to leave feeling like you've really worked.
Sculpt
Medium paced and intense, with weights.
Sculpt focuses on toning and definition, using light weights, the ball, band or magic circle to add resistance and variety.
Strength
Slower paced and strength-focused.
Strength is all about time under tension, deep powerhouse work, a controlled abdominal series and precise alignment. It's slower, but don't mistake slow for easy.
Not sure where to start?
If you're new, book a Foundations class first. Once you feel comfortable, try each of the other styles and notice how your body responds.
Many of our clients mix styles through the week: a Sweat class when they want energy, Sculpt for definition and Strength when they want to slow down and focus. Every class on the schedule is marked with its level, so you can always find the right fit.
