Most of us have said it at some point: "I really should start Pilates." The intention is there. What's missing is a plan that makes it easy to follow through.
Here are a few simple ways to turn that intention into a routine that sticks.
Make it specific
"I'll go more often" is a wish. "Tuesday at 7am and Saturday at 9am" is a plan.
Look at your week and choose the times that genuinely work for you, then book them. Classes open 14 days in advance, so you can plan your next two weeks in one go.
Treat it like an appointment
Once a class is booked, it goes in your calendar like any other commitment. The Fitt. app makes it easy to book, check your upcoming classes and manage your bookings, all from your phone.
Start smaller than you think
It's tempting to go all in, but two classes a week that you actually make is better than five that you keep cancelling. Build the habit first, then add more when it feels natural.
Make it easy to say yes
Remove the small things that get in the way. Pack your bag the night before. There's free parking right outside the studio, and our changing rooms have showers, hairdryers and free lockers, so you can head straight to work or out for the evening afterwards.
Find your people
A routine is so much easier when you're part of a community. Fitt. is a women-only studio, and familiar faces in class make it something you look forward to rather than something you have to do.
Take the first step
The gap between intention and action is usually just one booking. If you're new to Fitt., our intro offer gives you 3 sessions for £50 across Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Yoga and Barre.
